*We do our best to ship your order same day once it passes security clearance for fraud (typically 1 business day). If you order falls outside of our normal business hours (11A - 5P everyday except Thursdays 11A - 7P, we are closed on Mondays) your order will ship next day following fraud check. All parts an accessory orders are shipped via USPS priority or ground-advantage mail. Bike orders are shipped via Bike Flights (a UPS partner).

8am Mountain Bike Ride
Starts Saturday, 9/7

  • Location: Bluff Point State Park, Groton CT. 
  • Mountain bike rides will NOT happen if the starting temperature of the ride is 20 degrees or below. This will not be officially announced so please check the weather before you plan to show up for the ride.
  • Details: This ride is open to multiple riders at many abilities. There will be multiple groups depending on who shows up each week. The ride may start as one group and naturally split into multiple groups as it goes on. Riders must have a bike that is capable of handling singletrack mountain bike trails with roots and rocks.

8am Road Bike Ride
Starts Sunday, 9/29

  • Location: Mystic Cycle Centre Parking Lot 
  • Details: We are currently only offering 1 road ride (total) each week.  
  • Pace: 17-18 mph average speed, for 30+ miles. 
  • We hope to have more road groups in the coming months with more groups at different speeds + distances. As of right now, we don't have the ability to do multiple groups. 
  • Road rides will NOT happen if the starting temperature of the ride is 40 degrees or below. This will not be officially announced so please check the weather before you plan to show up for the ride.
  • Anyone is more than welcome to park at the shop to do their own rides with friends, but the aforementioned road ride is the only one that we will be doing at this time.

FAQs

Q: Do I need to Sign a Waiver?
A: Yes. Waivers are mandatory for any person planning to ride with the group. Waivers are good for the entire calendar year. If you plan to sign the waiver before the ride, please bring your bike to the shop so we can put a sticker on your bike. Stickers will be available at our rides if you show up and need to sign the waiver. The sticker ensures that ride leaders are aware the waiver is signed. Stickers will be checked by ride leaders at the beginning of every ride.


Q: Once I sign my ride waiver, how do I get my sticker? 
A: We request that riders stop into the store prior to their next group ride to get their sticker. This eliminates our Ride Leaders being overloaded with administrative tasks at the trailhead where both technology and sometimes service may be limited.


Q: When should I arrive to the ride? 
A: Please plan to arrive 15 minute prior to the ride start. This ensures that you and our ride leaders are prepared for the ride. 

Q: How long will rides be? 
A:For now, or unless otherwise stated, our rides will fall between 1 - 1.5 hours in length. 

Q: What is the minimum age that I or my child can ride? 
A: The minimum age to ride is 16 years old*. Anyone under 18 is required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout the entire ride.

Q: How do I know if a ride is cancelled? 
A:We will announce that a ride is cancelled at minimum an hour before the ride. Please check our Instagram and Facebook pages if there is a suspected cancellation. Road rides will be an automatic cancellation if the weather is 35 degrees and below. This will not be announced every time so please check the weather before you ride in the coming months.
